thanks so much for this! i stumbled upon your web when i’m looking for icons. i’m so gonna bookmark this site for future reference. 
btw can i request “deviantART” and “Behance” as addition to the icon collections? i’ve been looking everywhere for those two but i can’t seem to find any.

Thanks for the comment. We have been releasing updated social media icons on our resource blog: http://webtreats.mysitemyway.com that include deviantART. Behance will probably be included in the next round of updates.

One of the best icons i ever seen. I am though missing some. “The Browser icon collection” Liker IE, Safari, Google Chrome and so on.
Also some company icons, like Volvo, GM, Coca-cola…

I love your icons, but as a scientist I would love to have a Mendeley icon in your sets. If there is anyway I could beg / inspire this to happen…

I added Mendeley icon to our developers’ to do list. Unfortunately I don’t know when they will get to it and we aren’t currently doing any custom work. Nice icons, however when adding to iphone vis iphone explorer I just end up with a solid black icon?? What am I doing wrong?

Hi eric,
Icon are .png files with transparent background. So if your iphone has black background and you add black ink grunge icon to it I can picture that you’ll end up with a solid black icon like you’ve described. You might want to change your phone background or choose lighter color icons from our selection. On our web pages these icons are displayed on white background which makes them stand out nicely.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have managed to replace a couple of icons successfully onto my grey grunge background. However the icon will not change for some apps. Have replaced the icon.png and also made a custome theme for each icon but still some don,t change at all or I get a black square. These are apps from the app store,using 3gs????

I don’t know what else could be causing this. Make sure to download the zip file for each individual icon.

Hi Sebastian, Try this: Download the zipped icon file -> save it on your desktop -> right click on the zipped file -> extract all. In the unzipped folder should be your downloaded icon. You can open the icon using Gimp or photoshop.
